How do I become a Friend of Esalen?

Esalen has a two-tiered pricing structure, with Friends of Esalen receiving a $50 price reduction for each workshop in a 12-month period from the sign-up date. We invite you to become a Friend of Esalen. Your donation of $50 or more will enroll you and will benefit our programs and help build Esalen's long-term financial base. All donations are non-refundable and tax-deductible under IRS section 501(c)3 for the amount of the donation.

As a Friend of Esalen you will receive the following benefits:

• A $50 reduction in tuition for all workshops over the next 12 months
• Friends of Esalen Newsletters for one year
• A tax deduction under IRS section 501(c)3 for the amount of the donation for US citizens

Gift Certificates are available and can be used for workshops, personal retreats and massage, based upon availability. They have no expiration date. Just call our reservation line (831-667-3005) during the hours indicated below. Have your credit card handy. Gift certificates are for a fixed dollar amount, not for a workshop or a massage, as the prices of those services can change. We will print a certificate with the recipient's name, the dollar amount, and the donor's name, and we will send that certificate either to the donor or to the recipient, as the donor requests. If it's not convenient to telephone us, you can purchase a Gift Certificate by email or fax. Be sure to send us the complete name, address, telephone number, and email address of both the donor and the recipient as well as the credit card number and expiration date and the credit card holder's name as it appears on the card. If you send this information by fax, please include the credit card holder's signature.
